Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for Competent Centre Support Assistant & Dental Assistant for Karachi region. The incumbent will be responsible for:

Regular duties / Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter patient information, completely fill the registration, maintain manual book, collect bills either cash or card and print slip on the spot.  
  • Maintain patient records, manual slips, payment slips copy and cash reconciliation every day.
  • Deposit cash in the bank every day in two baches; morning and afternoon. And share and maintain deposit slip with immediate supervisor and with finance every day.
  • Obtain all necessary documentation required for daily cash count.
  • Respond to inquiries immediately regarding the cash count, abnormalities identified, cash shortage and access of cash.
  • Obtain weekly & monthly petty cash with proper documentation, and timely submission to immediate supervisor.
  • Accurately enter billing and diagnosis codes, category and type of service, amount, and volume of the services and procedures.
  • Process authorization requests to regional head and finance, through his/her immediate supervisor.
  • Timely communication of conflicts or difficulties with floor members or with clients to the immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of the client information in adherence to AKHSP policies.
  • Keenly responsible for cash handing, deposit, and re-conciliations on daily basis.
  • Timely answering of inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients.

Education, Experience & Competencies

  • Diploma in Dental/ BS in Dental / Marketing
  • Minimum 1-2year experience in the relevant field
  • Ability to carry out daily tasks effectively and timely and demonstrate team player’s qualities.
  • Must have negotiation problem solving skills.
