Here at Human Appeal (HA) we have an exciting opportunity for Salesforce Manager to be based at our Islamabad office but working with stakeholders based locally and overseas. You will join the organization on full-time basis with potential for a permanent role with a competitive salary depending on your skills and expertise.   

HA is seeking Salesforce Project Manager to join our Salesforce team. Please note this role is open to candidates with right to work for Pakistan only. Candidates must be open/flexible to working remote hours suited to UK time zones.

Main Job Purpose

The Salesforce Project Manager will play a crucial role in leading and managing Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects, ensuring successful delivery aligned with Human Appeal’s objectives. The Salesforce Project will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, design effective solutions, and guide the project through execution to ensure successful outcomes

Key Result Indicator

Successfully:  

  • Lead delivery of Salesforce modules, deliverables and functionalities within quality expectations, schedule and budget 
  • Plan and manage project resources efficiently to meet project needs 
  • Capture accurately requirements of Salesforce modules, deliverables and functionalities 
  • Document key project documentations ensuring that they are complete, relevant and accessible to team members and stakeholders 
  • Engage with key project stakeholders to capture relevant project requirements, sign offs and manage their expectations

Accountabilities

1. Project Planning and Management: 

  • Lead end-to-end project management for Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.  
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project team members. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies. 
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. 
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, provide updates, and ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders. 
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. 

2. Requirements Gathering and Solution Design: 

  • Collaborate with systems stakeholders and users to understand systems requirements and translate them into technical solutions.  
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops to extract and document key information. 
  • Work closely with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business analysts to design and configure Salesforce solutions that meet organization's needs. 
  • Provide guidance and expertise on Salesforce best practices and recommend appropriate customization and configuration options. 

3. Team Leadership and Collaboration: 

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction, guidance, and support.  
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing. 
  • Coordinate and align resources, ensuring appropriate staffing for project activities. 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth. 

4. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: 

  • Engage and build strong relationships with system users, stakeholders, and external vendors.  
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and manage expectations. 
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, driving continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent  
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile) 
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies 

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Project Manager, leading and delivering Salesforce implementation projects. 
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including configuration, customization, and integration options. 
  • Proficient use of tools like Jira to manage projects and resource assignments 
  • Proven track record of effective project leadership and positive results 

Computer Skills:

  • Intermediate-level Excel 
  • MS Office Suite 

Languages:

  • Fluent English, other languages a bonus. 

Desirable:

  • Scrum Master Certification 
  • Salesforce Admin Certification 
  • Experience with NGO or charity sector
