Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and proactive Training & Communication Officer with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Managing an overall training plan and ensuring that trainings are completed to meet identified objectives, within the provided timelines and budgets.
  • Identification and coordination across all partners and training participants to ensure that the trainings are carried out smoothly.
  • Regular need assessment for the identification of trainees & trainers for key trainings
  • Excellent record keeping and reporting of all training activities.
  • Management of a training database with the required information on each training.
  • Regular field visit to see the immediate and intermediate outcomes of the training.
  • Recording and sharing case studies and success stories regularly.
  • Dissemination of communication materials and ensure visibility of the activities.
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Education, Skills & Competencies

  • Master’s degree in Sociology, Development studies, BScN or related studies
  • At least 3 to 4 years relevant experience in training
  • Knowledge in community participation methodologies
  • Experience facilitating group learning sessions or focus group
  • Ability to communicate and effectively interact with people of different cultures
  • Capacity to work effectively in teams as well as independently
  • Demonstrate experience in the design, management, implementation and evaluation of projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of keeping partnerships and building relationships and reporting with Government agencies
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex concepts
  • Formal computer skills (Microsoft Office)
