Grant Proposal Development: Research, write, and edit persuasive grant proposals to secure funding from various donors and funding agencies. Develop a clear understanding of the organization's programs and initiatives to effectively communicate their impact and benefits in proposals. Coordinate with stakeholders to conceptualize, design, and plan health research projects. Ensure that research objectives align with the organization's mission and goals.

Grant Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other relevant funding sources. Stay informed about funding trends, deadlines, and eligibility criteria to maximize proposal success.

Project Budgeting: Collaborate with the management to develop accurate and realistic project budgets that align with the grant requirements and guidelines.

Grant Compliance: Ensure that all grant proposals comply with the guidelines and requirements of funding agencies. Address any specific formatting, content, or submission criteria as per each donor's instructions.

Proposal Submission: Manage the submission process of grant proposals within specified deadlines. Follow up on proposal submissions and respond to any additional information or clarification requests from donors.

Grant Reporting: Assist in preparing progress reports for donors, showcasing the impact and outcomes of funded projects. Ensure timely submission of reports and adherence to reporting guidelines.

Grant Database Management: Maintain a comprehensive database of grants, proposals, deadlines, and outcomes for effective grant management and reporting.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Collaborate with the M&E team to incorporate relevant indicators and data collection methods in grant proposals to measure project impact and success.

Capacity Building: Provide support to program managers and project teams in developing their grant writing skills and understanding donor requirements.

Networking and Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with potential donors and funding agencies to increase the organization's visibility and enhance opportunities for funding partnerships.

Minimum Education:

Masters level.

Career Level:

Experienced Professional with good written command in English.

Minimum Experience:

5 Years of experience of research, grant proposal writing and submission as per RFPs.

Grants Successful Ratio:

The past grants successful ratio must be 80% and above.
