Human Appeal is implementing WFP nutrition activities under Benazir Nashonuma Programme (BNP) in district Qamber ShahdadKot to improve the nutritional status of adolescent girls in the targeted population of adolescent girls through provision of SNF and nutrition awareness activities linked with conditional cash assistance.

Position Summary:

The Project Reporting Assistant will be Roving position for District Qamber ShahdadKot with frequent Visits to Human Appeal Country Office in Islamabad. The positon will be responsible for ensuring support to Programme team on data mining, presentation, consolidation for reporting to the donor on WFP nutrition project activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Will be collecting, compiling, managing, coding, labelling, analyzing project activities and beneficiaries’ data.
  • Providing support in designing data collection tools compatible with MS. Access database.
  • Providing support to make dashboards of project activities and beneficiaries’ data.
  • Collect weekly, monthly beneficiaries’ databases from all basis and consolidate into report format as per donor or organization requirements.
  • Data Cleaning and Data consolidation by ensuring quality data processing and identifying and addressing issues with data collected.
  • Extract data/report from database in understandable formats as per project /departments needs
  • Manage database in MS ACCESS and MS EXCEL.
  • Provide support to program bases for printing verification sheets, training attendance, payment sheets and tokens.
  • Provide support in compiling unique beneficiaries’ detail of different project activities by using IDs of each beneficiary.
  • To assist on reporting different indicators and output tracker as per reporting deadlines
  •  Provide training to project field team on new templates/databases and assigning unique IDs to beneficiaries during identification or selection process.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Masters in Community health, Information Technology, Computer sciences or related field.
  • At least 1- year field level project implementation experience.
  • Good level of spoken and written Sindhi and local languages.
  • Excellent behavior change communication and counselling skills.
  • Excellent skills in organizing workflow, capacity to follow protocols and take own initiative.
  • Excellent ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in an environment where there are physical discomforts associated with change in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust or dirt.

  Skills and Proficiencies:

  • Ability and willingness to autonomously travel to duty site/ health facility and villages when required.
  • Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions like long distance walking to work/distribution sites
  • Excellent spoken and written local language /Urdu and English language skills
  • Good computer skills – ability to write weekly and monthly reports and data analysis.
