Human Appeal is implementing WFP nutrition activities under Benazir Nashonuma Programme (BNP) in district Qamber ShahdadKot to improve the nutritional status of adolescent girls in the targeted population of adolescent girls through provision of SNF and nutrition awareness activities linked with conditional cash assistance.

Position Summary:

The Storekeeper/Warehouse Associate will be based in project office in Qamber ShahdadKot, the position will responsible for managing the warehouse facility for the WFP nutrition project. The positon will be responsible for ensuring warehouse inventory and stock management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure and maintains Stock Cards in the Warehouse
• Ensure Commodities Spot Checks are carried on a weekly basis.
• Ensure FIFO & LIFO methodologies are used. 
• Ensures the integrity of transport information, including commodity tracking in SIF standard systems .
• Prepares and maintains transport information for reporting purposes .
• Ensures effective commodity management and quality control .
• Ensures SIF warehouses as managed in accordance to SIF guidelines .
• Ensuring the most cost effective and reliable means of transport is used for the timely delivery of supplies to projects. 
• Label and put items away on shelves/floor storage by lot and expiration date .
• Maintain filing system and ensure documents are archived .
• Support warehouse cleaning, ensuring environment is free of dirt and dust o   Follow all safety codes.
•   Follow all security procedures.
• Carry out tasks as assigned by the Project Manager at duty station.
• Ensure the warehouses inventories are recorded accurately on a regular basis.
• Provide field Logistics Teams with technical support in respect to appropriate processes for ordering, receiving, distributing stocking and updating of all warehouse inventories.

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduation/MBA from any HEC recognized university.
• At least 2- year field level warehouse management experience.
• Good level of spoken and written Sindhi and local languages.
• Excellent skills in organizing workflow, capacity to follow protocols and take own initiative.
• Excellent ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work in an environment where there are physical discomforts associated with change in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust or dirt.

  Skills and Proficiencies:

• Ability and willingness to autonomously travel to duty site/ health facility and villages when required.
• Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions like long distance walking to work/distribution sites
• Excellent spoken and written local language /Urdu and English language skills
• Good computer skills – ability to write weekly and monthly reports and data analysis.
