The International Council for Religious Affairs (IRCRA) was founded in 2013 as a non-profit, non-governmental advocacy think tank and research organization under the Societies Act of 1860. Throughout its existence, IRCRA has promoted and fostered community-wide, constructive, dialogic, and successful social and civic initiatives, and will continue to do so in the future.

The goal of IRCRA has been to engage Pakistan's community and faith leaders in training and capacity-building programmes that promote tolerance and peace, with a focus on critical thinking skills, tolerance, human rights, conflict resolution, sustainability, gender equalities, and youth development.

Program Manager Required:

International Research Council for Religious Affairs Islamabad (IRCRA) is looking for a Pashto speaking Program Manager (Female) for its Islamabad office

Key Responsibilities for Program Manager

  • Organizing project activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Developing new programs/ projects to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
  • Developing evaluation plans to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
  • Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
  • Ensuring goals are met to the organization and its partners’ satisfaction.
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Engagement with stakeholders and partners (both government and civil society) to ensure quality participation.
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

Qualification & Experience requirements

  • Master degree in Political science, IR, Peace & Conflict studies or related field.
  • Fluency in English, Urdu and Pashto language is required. Knowing of Dari language will be an added advantage
  • Proven experience in program management.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience managing a team.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Presentation and Outlook.
  • Minimum five years’ experience of project management, Peace building through religious engagement, Interfaith & intra-faith harmony & religion and culture conflicts, youth & women engagement and report writing with international development organizations and partners.
