The Head of Exploration will lead exploration strategy, prospect generation, and portfolio maturation across operated and non-operated E&P assets. The role is critical to reserves replacement and long-term production growth. Our asset base includes reservoirs with complex geological and geophysical characteristics, requiring strong subsurface integration and experience-driven exploration judgment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead exploration strategy and portfolio planning

  • Management of 2D / 3D seismic planning, acquisition and processing  

  • Prospect generation, maturation, and ranking  

  • Geological, geophysical, and seismic interpretation  

  • Resource estimation, risking, and volumetric assessments  

  • Leadership of multidisciplinary exploration teams  

  • Technical interaction with joint venture partners and regulators  

  • Presentation of exploration results to senior management and the Board


Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Geology, Geophysics or related discipline

  • Minimum 20 years’ experience within an E&P operating company  

  • Proven track record in prospect generation and maturation  

  • Experience with carbonate reservoirs preferred  

  • Basin experience in Pakistan / South Asia region advantageous
