Our clients include large multi-lateral and bi-lateral donor organizations, major public sector agencies, and a varied range of globally active consulting and contracting firms. AiD is looking for a high-performing Business Development Professional to drive growth initiatives in Pakistan’s Sugar and Textile sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry network, in-depth market understanding, and a proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.

Business Development Professional – Sugar & Textile Sectors

 

Qualification Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in business development, marketing, engineering, or corporate affairs within the Sugar and/or Textile sectors.
  • Well-established professional relationships in one or both sectors.
  • Strong understanding of sectoral dynamics, investment climate, and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, target-oriented, and capable of working both independently and in teams.

Job Description
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in the Sugar and/or Textile sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders — including company executives, investors, and suppliers.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, partnerships, and project development efforts aligned with AiD’s business objectives.
  • Conduct market intelligence and feasibility studies to support investment and growth decisions.
  • Prepare business proposals, partnership frameworks, and investor presentations.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure effective implementation of business development initiatives.
