Position 1

The Zakat Foundation of America (ZFA) is a US-based humanitarian and development organization committed to alleviating poverty and ensuring access to basic human rights through sustainable, community-centered interventions. In line with its mission to expand its health services in underserved regions of Pakistan, ZFA is seeking qualified and experienced implementing partners to conduct eye camps in different parts of pakistan.

The Project:

Building on this commitment and the success of past interventions, ZFA is now launching a new water access initiative that will involve the installation of 40 solar powered wells in some of the most water-scarce and recent flood affected regions of Pakistan. This project aims to provide clean, safe, and accessible drinking water to approximately 8,000 to 10,000 individuals living in remote and underserved communities. The solar wells will be installed following a rigorous needs assessment and community consultation process to ensure equitable access and long-term sustainability. By addressing both immediate and structural barriers to water access, this project will significantly improve the health, dignity, and daily lives of vulnerable families—particularly women and children—while also empowering communities to manage and sustain their own water resources through training and localized oversight.

Outputs:

Output 1: Installation of solar wells
