Scope of work
The Manager, Communications & Digital Engagement will lead the planning and execution of all internal and external communications. This includes developing the project’s communication strategy and branding plan, managing the digital presence, and executing targeted social media and digital campaigns to promote project goals and engage stakeholders.
The role involves producing high-quality content, coordinating reporting, supporting event communications, and ensuring consistent, culturally sensitive messaging across platforms. The Manager will collaborate with teams to translate project data into compelling narratives and uphold branding, documentation, and ethical standards throughout all communications activities.

Core Responsibilities – Communications
- Lead the development and implementation of the project’s Communication Strategy and Branding and Marking Plan, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and donor requirements.
- Design and roll out standardized templates (with guidance notes/instructions) for reports, planning documents, fact sheets, press releases, PowerPoint presentations, banners, event backdrops, brochures, and other communication materials.
- Develop a wide range of communication products, including talking points, presentations, fact sheets, press releases, scene-setters, brochures, success stories, reports, and promotional collateral.
- Provide high-quality writing and editing support for technical materials throughout the project lifecycle, including reports, deliverables, and outreach products.
- Collaborate with the Monitoring & Evaluation team to translate performance data into compelling communication materials and success narratives that effectively demonstrate project impact.
- Lead the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports, ensuring they meet the required writing, branding, and formatting standards.
- Coordinate approvals and quality assurance for all communication materials, ensuring alignment with the project’s branding and visibility guidelines.
- Plan and manage all pre- and post-event communications tasks, including documentation, branding, and preparation of relevant materials to ensure high-quality delivery and visibility at trainings, workshops, and public events.
- Engage with technical leads, provincial and district teams to guide communication priorities and assist in drafting success stories and other key content.
- Support sub-awardees and project beneficiaries in conducting outreach activities, ensuring
consistent messaging and adherence to agreed communication and branding standards.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and archiving of all communication-related administrative, technical, and programmatic materials.
- Conduct all responsibilities with cultural sensitivity and respect, ensuring alignment with local norms and practices.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards at all times, avoiding any actual or perceived conflicts of interest.
Core Responsibilities – Digital Engagement
- Design, schedule, and manage mission-aligned content across digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others, effectively showcasing DOPASI Foundation’s work and impact.
- Develop and implement strategic digital campaigns aimed at raising awareness of DOPASI Foundation’s initiatives, mobilizing support, and promoting key projects focused on empowering marginalized communities.
- Plan and coordinate digital advocacy campaigns around critical initiatives, such as program launches, partnership announcements, community engagement efforts, and international observance days (e.g., World Health Day, International Women’s Day), ensuring alignment with DOPASI Foundation’s goals and values.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools, providing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to enhance reach, engagement, and supporter involvement for both ongoing and future efforts.
- Monitor emerging digital trends and relevant social justice movements, identifying innovative opportunities to expand DOPASI Foundation’s online presence and strengthen its advocacy impact.

Educational & Experience Required
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in communications, preferably within public health or international development sectors.
- Proven expertise in strategic communication, content development, and messaging.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing media relations, digital platforms, and advocacy campaigns.
- Familiarity with donor communication protocols and branding guidelines, including prior experience with international donor standards.
- Knowledge of tuberculosis or other public health programs is an asset.
