CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3: The role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff. |
ROLE PURPOSE: The Project Coordinator will be primarily responsible to support the Program Operations Team in coordination and implementation of Emergency Response and Anticipatory Action Programming. Although the project implementation is primarily through local partners across the country S/He will support partners for ensuring high quality program delivery; and is expected to represent the organization at provincial and district level while ensuring participation at meetings with INGOs, UN and stakeholders. He/She will be resource person for program information, coordinating and following up with partners, all relevant departments and stakeholders including MEAL, Technical Advisors, Awards and NBD. |
