Position Objectives:

  • A health information management system typically involves supporting efficient organization, storage, and retrieval of information within an organization. He will be responsible for data collection, compilation, analysis, and reporting to monitoring department at the headquarters.

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities:

1

  • Data collection from the field on a routine basis

2

Perform data cleaning and ensure accurate entry of the data into Health Information using computer software and an online database

Take necessary measures to ensure the quality of data 

4

Import, analysis, visualization of the data and draft reports   

5

Efficiently compile and manage data using a database management system and other digital tools to ensure organized and accessible data storage

6

Field visits for data verification and monitoring

7

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data entered into Health Information system by conducting regular quality checks.

Collaborate with head office for collecting and quality-assuring routine data

9

Ongoing data monitoring, producing reports as required for management decisions

10

Carry out data quality assurance to ensure timely collection and reporting of quality data

When relevant, actively provide feedback on needs or ways to improve data collection/ Health Information

Responsible for ensuring data protection and confidentiality of data stored in the database

13

Work closely with the data management team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of Health Information and data management processes

Design and implementation of data reporting to support various levels of supervisors and managers in monitoring progress and improving program outcomes

To set clear objectives and targets for data teams in the field to ensure that accurate data is collected and reported regularly

 

Education

 

BS (4 Years) or Master’s in computer science/IT/Software, Information Management, from a recognized Institute



Experience

 
  • Minimum 03 years of working experience in the same field in Health

  • Experience working with health data entry/management is an advantage

  • Excellent communication, presentation, infographics, and organizational skills

  • Ability and willingness to travel across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & Merged Areas

 

Skills / Knowledge

 
  • Data Punching and entry

  • Data cleaning/Data analysis/Data visualization

  • Strong working Knowledge in MS Excel and Word for data entry, analysis and documentation

  • Strong coordination and organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Flexibility to travel to perform Mobil health camps in the field.

  • Excellent writing and reporting skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure, in challenging field environments, and with diverse teams.

  • High integrity, accountability, and commitment to humanitarian principles.

  • Language: Fluency in Urdu, Pashto, and English (spoken and written).

Extensive travelling/travel to field locations with MHT as required
