Job Description:

Position Objective and Specific Tasks.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overall management, coordination, and supervision of the Adolescent Health and Nutrition Program across all three target districts including Lodhran (Punjab), Swabi (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), and Pishin (Balochistan). Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Party and working in close collaboration with Client, the Project Coordinator will ensure high-quality implementation, compliance with client standards, and achievement of program deliverables.

The role involves leading planning processes, supporting district teams, facilitating government liaison at the national and provincial levels, ensuring strong monitoring and reporting mechanisms, and fostering a collaborative environment for sustainable program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead overall project implementation, planning, coordination, and supervision in all three target districts.
• Serve as the primary liaison between our organization and client, and national/provincial Departments of Health and Education.
• Oversee and support district teams in executing key program components including training, Weekly Iron and Folic Acid Supplementation (WIFAS) distribution, SBCC activities, and monitoring.
• Facilitate timely approvals (NOCs, MoUs) and maintain relationships with provincial and district government counterparts.
• Ensure that all project activities adhere to approved work plans, budgets, and technical standards.
• Oversee Training of Trainers (ToTs) and ensure quality assurance across all cascade trainings.
• Conduct periodic field visits for technical supervision, progress monitoring, and compliance verification.
• Consolidate and analyze district-level reports to produce comprehensive provincial and national summaries.
• Ensure real-time tracking and analysis of performance indicators through M&E tools and dashboards.
• Prepare and submit high-quality quarterly technical and financial reports to client.
• Facilitate coordination meetings with stakeholders and document key outcomes, challenges, and lessons learned.
• Lead program reviews ensuring data-driven decision-making and documentation of success stories.
• Support institutional learning, visibility, and knowledge sharing through publications, briefings, and advocacy events.
• Ensure adherence to the organizational policies on safeguarding, ethics, and accountability.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Educational Requirements and Competencies. 

The individual holding this position shall possess the following:

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in project coordination or management within health and nutrition programs.
• Proven expertise in government liaison, donor coordination, and team supervision.
• Experience managing multi-district or multi-provincial public health programs.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office and digital monitoring tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English and working knowledge of Urdu; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel frequently across program districts.
