Brief Introduction of the Project:

Penny Appeal Pakistan (PAPK) is implementing a One-Room Shelter Construction Project to support families affected by floods in District Vehari. The initiative aims to provide safe and dignified housing solutions for vulnerable households whose homes were damaged or destroyed during the floods.

 The project is part of PAPK’s broader humanitarian and early recovery efforts to assist disaster-affected communities by restoring shelter, safety, and stability. Under this initiative, one-room shelters will be constructed using durable materials and standard designs to ensure quality, safety, and resilience against future hazards.

 Penny Appeal Pakistan will oversee all aspects of implementation, including site verification, construction, and technical supervision, in coordination with local authorities and community representatives. The intervention is designed to promote community participation and ownership while ensuring transparency and adherence to humanitarian and engineering standards.

 Through this project, Penny Appeal Pakistan seeks to contribute to the restoration of normal living conditions, enhancement of community resilience, and improvement of overall well-being of flood-affected families in District Vehari.

 Brief Introduction of Organization:

Penny Appeal is a non-profit humanitarian organization registered under the Trust Act 1882 (Registration No. 15558) in Islamabad. The purpose of the organization is to provide assistance to marginalized groups of society to enhance their access to basic life essentials. Penny Appeal serves the vulnerable and marginalized communities on purely humanitarian basis without any biasness of religion, race, tribe, language and gender. Penny Appeal is hereby inviting sealed bids from registered reputable contractors to participate in bidding for the below mentioned work, including skilled, unskilled labor & material transportation to construction/ project site.
