About the Role:

A humanitarian and Development organization is hiring an Admin & Finance Officer for the education project for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, maintaining transparent accounting records, and providing administrative support for the smooth implementation of activities. The officer will ensure proper financial reporting, procurement, inventory, and logistical support to enable effective execution of project components, including enrolment drives, remedial programs, girls’ empowerment initiatives, and community campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile financial records, monitor budget utilization, and ensure alignment with approved budgets; prepare timely reports for stakeholders.
  • Process payments for vendors, partners, and staff; ensure proper documentation of expenditures across project activities (e.g., SBCC, ToTs, school programs).
  • Handle logistics for trainings, camps, and events; maintain records related to attendance, procurement, travel, and office administration.
  • Manage procurement processes in line with organizational policies, ensuring transparency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain updated inventories of assets and educational materials; monitor usage and ensure safe handling across districts.
  • Liaise with field teams and partners to collect financial/admin documentation; support storytelling logistics and reporting outputs.

Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial and administrative management, preferably within the education or development sector projects.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication (written and verbal), analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to work independently or in diverse, multi-location teams.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
