Background

The Inclusive Eye Health Project in Rahimyar Khan is a four-year initiative implemented by LRBT in collaboration with Christian Blind Mission (CBM) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project enhances access to inclusive, quality eye care for underserved communities through systems strengthening, capacity
building, disability-inclusive practices, and policy advocacy.

Objective of the Assignment

To develop two high-quality, impactful videos (one in English and one in Urdu) showcasing the
program’s success stories, systems-level impact, and inclusive development model. These
videos will support advocacy, donor visibility, and public engagement.

Scope of Work

The selected firm will be responsible for:

 

  • Conceptualizing and developing a compelling bilingual script and storyline (English & Urdu)
  • Conducting field filming in Rahimyar Khan (health facilities, schools, communities, government/stakeholders' offices)
  • Capturing handing over ceremony in Rahimyar Khan
  • Capturing powerful testimonials from project beneficiaries, OPDs/SHGs, healthcare workers, and officials
  • Highlighting collaboration across sectors, systems strengthening and tangible systems changes (e.g., infrastructure upgrades/disability access, district level inclusive eye health committee formation, training programs, and district inclusive eye health plan)
  • Producing two finalized versions:
    • 5–7 minute video in Urdu with English subtitles
    • 5–7 minute video in English with Urdu subtitles
  • Creating 2–3 short teaser videos (30–60 seconds) in both languages for social media
  • Ensuring the videos are inclusive and accessible (subtitles, clear audio, visually descriptive content)

Deliverables

1. Bilingual script/storyboard for review and approval
2. Raw footage and photos (to be shared with LRBT/CBM)
3. One 5–7 minute video in Urdu (with English subtitles)
4. One 5–7 minute video in English (with Urdu subtitles)
5. Two teaser videos in Urdu (with English subtitles)
6. Two teaser videos in English (with Urdu subtitles)
7. Final outputs delivered in full HD, with accessibility considerations (sign language interpretation)
8. All deliverables submitted before or by 30 May 2025


Required Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience producing bilingual or multilingual documentary-style videos
  • Portfolio with at least 3 completed impact or advocacy videos for NGOs, INGOs, or development programs
  • Experience working with diverse and marginalized populations, including persons with disabilities
  • Professional production team (Director, Videographer, Editor, Urdu/English scriptwriter, accessibility consultant)
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
