Job Description:
The Outreach Officer plays a pivotal role in expanding community presence and donor engagement efforts. This position supports both field-based outreachand back-end coordination related to donor relations and partner development. The ideal candidate is both community-oriented and detail-driven, capable of engaging external stakeholders and maintaining accurate relationship records.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Relations, or related fields.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in community mobilization, stakeholder engagement, or donor relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and local languages.
- Experience working in diverse cultural settings, preferably in rural or underserved areas.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and documentation skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with international education or experience working in global organization

Community Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement
- Plan and execute community outreach strategies in alignment with program goals.
- Build and sustain relationships with community groups, local authorities, NGOs, and stakeholders.
- Organize awareness campaigns, community events, and workshops.
- Represent the organization at forums, meetings, and public events.
- Serve as a communication bridge between field communities and program teams.
Donor Relations & Partnership Support
- Support the collection and analysis of donor profiles, interests, and priorities.
- Assist in identifying, establishing, and nurturing strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate and support donor meetings, including scheduling and preparation of briefs.
- Maintain timely and professional correspondence with donors and partners.
- Develop and manage accurate records of donor transactions and relationship histories.
Reporting & Coordination
- Liaise with the Finance Department for fund reconciliation, invoicing, and pledge tracking.
- Ensure proper application of donor reporting systems and follow-up mechanisms.
- Conduct prospect research and identify funding opportunities.
- Proactively suggest improvements to outreach, donor engagement, and reporting processes.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
