Position Title: Intern – Programme Support
Location: Islamabad, Pakistan
Duration: 3–6 months (extendable based on performance and project needs)
Reports to: Sr Programme Manager – Inclusive Eye Health
Organization: CBM – Pakistan Country Office
Stipend: As per CBM internship policy

 

Purpose of the Role:

The Intern will provide support to the Sr Programme Manager in managing project documentation, partner coordination, data tracking, and reporting. This internship is ideal for a recent graduate or final-year student interested in public health, disability inclusion, and development programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining project files, reports, and correspondence.
  • Support in tracking progress of IEH activities against plans and timelines.
  • Help compile monthly or quarterly partner reports and monitoring updates.
  • Support the collection and verification of project data, including Gender and disability-disaggregated data
  • Assist in planning meetings, trainings, and workshops related to the IEH programme.
  • Help maintain a database of implementing partners and stakeholders.
  • Prepare minutes and summaries of key meetings and field visits.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and communication materials.
  • Any other relevant tasks as assigned by the Programme Manager.
  • Regular field travel required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor  degree (completed or in final year) in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Interest in disability-inclusive development and/or health programming.
  • Basic understanding of project cycle management is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good organizational and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and eager to learn in a development setting.
