ROLE PURPOSE: The Child Protection Officer is primarily responsible to support Project Manager in the successful implementation UNICEF funded child protection and nutrition focused project. The CP officer will support and facilitate the implementation of child protection focused outputs including coordination with government stakeholders at national and provincial/Territories levels; and trainings, oversight over CSO teams and mentoring support to CSOs and communities. S/He will support CSOs and frontline workers for ensuring high quality standards in the technicality and quality delivery of the CP interventions. S/He is expected to represent the organization at CP working group/s at provincial/Region level, meetings with INGOs, UN and stakeholders. |
