  • Manage relationships with external communication service providers to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of communication materials.
  • Act as a liaison with donors, partner organisations, and other external stakeholders, maintaining strong communications and fostering partnerships that align with the project's objectives and visibility efforts.
  • Identify and target relevant audiences for the communication of the organisation's work and project progress, ensuring messaging is tailored to each group.
  • Work closely with programme and project teams to implement the communication plan, ensuring visibility at workshops, training sessions, public events, and other project-related activities.
  • Review all reports and communication materials to ensure compliance with donor standards, including donor reports, social media content, training materials, and event publications.
  • Support the planning and coordination of project activities, ensuring adequate visibility at workshops, training sessions, meetings, and public events.
  • Supervise the production of publications, including editorial direction, design, quality control, and distribution, ensuring content aligns with the organisation’s brand and messaging guidelines.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with media outlets to increase the visibility of the organisation’s work and generate media coverage.
  • Support the implementation of communication tools tailored to various activities and audiences, including training materials, event visibility, publications, social media content, and mass media campaigns.
  • Develop and implement mechanisms for periodic data verification to identify gaps in the communication and visibility plan, ensuring communications effectively reach target audiences.
  • Assist in preparing six-month interim project reports, ensuring the communication strategy is accurately reflected in all deliverables.
  • Track public participation and contributions to the project’s communication and visibility products (CVP), ensuring engagement and feedback are incorporated into ongoing communications efforts.
