Job Title: Manager Fast Food Outlet
Location: I-8 Markaz Islamabad
Reports to:
Regional Manager/Owners

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Fast Food Outlet Manager to oversee both the front-of-house and kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, excellent customer service, and smooth day-to-day management. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a focus on optimizing kitchen efficiency and performance while maintaining brand standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

    • Oversee all daily operations, including front-of-house and kitchen.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through food quality, speed, and service.
    • Monitor kitchen workflow to ensure food is prepared efficiently and according to safety and quality standards.
    • Manage stock levels, place supply orders, and monitor inventory, particularly in the kitchen, to avoid shortages or waste.
    • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently, coordinating repairs and maintenance as necessary.

Kitchen & Food Quality Management:

    • Supervise food preparation and cooking to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes and quality standards.
    • Implement food safety protocols, ensuring the kitchen is always compliant with hygiene and health regulations.
    • Oversee portion control and presentation to maintain consistent food output.
    • Conduct regular food tastings and quality control checks to ensure menu items meet company standards.
    • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure all dishes are prepared and served within set time frames to meet customer expectations.
    • Ensure food cost control by minimizing wastage and optimizing ingredient usage.

Team Leadership:

    • Recruit, train, and manage front-of-house and kitchen staff, ensuring they meet service and food quality standards.
    • Create and manage staff schedules for both front-of-house and kitchen teams, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
    • Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional work environment in both the dining area and the kitchen.
    • Conduct regular team meetings and kitchen-specific training to improve food preparation, safety, and hygiene practices.

Financial & Inventory Management:

    • Drive sales and profitability through efficient operations, cost control, and waste reduction.
    • Manage kitchen budgets, including labor costs, food costs, and supplies, to ensure financial targets are met.
    • Analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions to optimize kitchen efficiency and overall outlet performance.
    • Handle cash flow, POS operations, and end-of-day financial reporting.

Customer Experience & Food Presentation:

    • Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and food presentation, both in the dining area and kitchen.
    • Regularly review and refresh the menu to keep offerings appealing and aligned with customer preferences.
    • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests related to food quality or preparation.

Compliance & Safety:

    • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations in the kitchen and front-of-house.
    • Conduct regular kitchen audits, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and sanitation practices.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for kitchen health inspections, safety checks, and compliance reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduate or Masters in management/administration/finance/marketing. A specialized degree in restaurant/fast food management would be preferred.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the fast food or restaurant industry, with a strong focus on kitchen operations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, kitchen hygiene standards, and food preparation techniques.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing food costs, budgets, and inventories.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities, particularly in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
