Position Title: Tailoring Instructor
Reports To: Education Facilitator
Duty Station: Safe Home – Islamabad
Unit: Programme

Summary of Key Functions:
The Tailoring Instructor will provide hands-on training in tailoring and stitching, helping residents develop practical livelihood skills in a supportive and structured environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailoring sessions aligned with skill development plans and timelines.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of sewing machines and tools.
• Track resident engagement and share observations with the Education Facilitator.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit individual skill levels.
• Maintain inventory of materials and request replenishment as needed.
• Encourage residents to complete garments or tailoring projects to build confidence.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Vocational background or experience in tailoring and stitching.
• Experience in community-based training or teaching is preferred.
• Ability to foster a safe and empowering learning environment.
• Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.
