Position 1

The Assistant Director of Information Technology (IT) will play a pivotal role in driving the organization’s digital transformation, transitioning from manual processes to a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position requires a strategic, innovative, and hands-on leader with a strong IT background to oversee all IT-related matters, enhance operational efficiency, and align technology initiatives with PRCS’s humanitarian mission.

Position Objectives:

  • Lead the organization-wide transition from manual to digital processes, implementing an ERP system to streamline operations across all departments.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy to enhance organizational efficiency and service delivery.

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software.

  • Ensure robust, secure, and scalable IT systems to support PRCS’s operational needs.

  • Spearhead the selection, customization, and deployment of an ERP system tailored to PRCS’s requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the ERP system across departments, including finance, human resources, logistics, and program management.

  • Identify and implement innovative IT solutions to enhance operational workflows and support PRCS’s humanitarian objectives.

  • Introduce creative approaches to address challenges in digitization and IT service delivery.

  • Manage and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Manage PRCS Website functions. 

  • Provide training and support to staff across departments to ensure effective adoption of digital tools and systems.

  • Develop and enforce IT policies to safeguard organizational data and ensure compliance with national and international data protection standards.

  • Oversee data migration, storage, and management during the digital transformation process.

  • Work closely with senior management, department heads, and external vendors to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.

  • Manage vendor relationships for IT procurement, system implementation, and ongoing support.

  • Monitor IT system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.

  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the progress of digital transformation and IT operations.

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of PRCS’s web platforms, ensuring user-friendly, secure, and responsive websites to enhance online presence and stakeholder engagement

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

Any task related to the Information Technology Department assigned by the Competent Authority.

Education

Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Sofware engineering from HEC recognized University/Institution.

Experience

  • Minimum of 4–5 years of progressive experience in Software development with a proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives.

  • Experience in implementing and managing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).

Skills/Knowledge

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.

  • Proficiency in ERP system customization, integration, and deployment.

  • Familiarity with database management, software development lifecycle, and IT service management frameworks.

Soft Skills:

  • Innovative and creative mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to solve organizational challenges.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
