Position Objectives:
|
- To work for the implementation of the youth and volunteer policy of PRCS.
- To mobilize the power of humanity amongst the youth and volunteers
- To establish maximum Red Crescent youth clubs in the education institutions in Karachi and other Districts of Sindh.
- Help to emergency response force in its preparation and response .
- To initiate road safety programs in Sindh.

Youth & Volunteer Engagement & Mobilization:
- Planning, mobilizing, recruitment, training and organization of volunteers and youth groups in the light of objectives of youth and volunteer policy of PRCS.
- Planning and budgeting of annual activities for youth and volunteers in coordination with National Headquarters/Provincial Branch.
- Preparation and submission of financial and activities report in accordance with time schedule.
- Field visits to schools, colleges, universities, communities for orientation of Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement and establishment of Youth and Volunteer clubs
- Conduct of trainings for Volunteers in coordination with all relevant stakeholders
- Assist Disaster Preparedness and Management Department in Emergency Response force/ Teams at all levels and availability of volunteers for distribution of relief goods among the affectees of natural and man-made disaster.
- Coordinate with other Program Heads for provision of volunteers for other PRCS activities at District and Community Level.
- Organizing all events and trainings in coordination with all stakeholders and PRCS departments
- Maintaining computerized data-base of volunteers.
- Regular monitoring and evaluation of youth & volunteer program to ensure implementation as per planned objective
- Represent PRCS Youth & Volunteer Department in relevant provincial-level meetings and forums.
- Build partnerships with external organizations, donors, and stakeholders to enhance youth engagement.
- Any other duty assigned by the PRCS Senior Management.

Road Safety Program 2.0 Implementation:
- Develop and execute the Road Safety Program 2.0 activities at the PHQ level in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct awareness sessions, training workshops, and capacity-building initiatives on road safety for youth and volunteers.
- Liaise with schools, colleges, universities, and community groups to promote road safety education.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of road safety initiatives and prepare periodic reports.
- Work closely with government agencies, traffic police, and other partners to enhance road safety awareness.
- Develop and submit timely progress reports on youth activities and the Road Safety Program 2.0.

Qualifications & Experience:
|
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in youth development, volunteer management, or community engagement programs.
- Experience in road safety awareness initiatives will be an added advantage.
- Strong project management, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
