A national non-profit organization operating in Peshawar - KP, is looking for qualified, dedicated and experienced individuals to fill the following Positions for a donor-funded short-term project of WASH & Shelter, in Peshawar-KP.
Warehouse Assistant (1 Position)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years managing warehouses in humanitarian contexts.
- Expertise in inventory tracking, stock distribution, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management software.
Job Description:
The warehouse assistant will be primarily responsible to;
- Support the Admin, Logistics & Security Manager in administrative tasks as and when required.
- Provide administrative and logistical assistance to project staff for the smooth operations of the project.
- Perform general office duties such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and handling inquiries.
- Ensure proper maintenance of office equipment and facilities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support the project.
- Assist in the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching project materials and supplies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage and loss.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory management systems and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels, movements, and distributions.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and physical counts to verify stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
- Record and report any discrepancies or damages in received shipments.
- Coordinate with logistics staff for the timely and accurate delivery of materials to project sites.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to project manager on inventory status, stock movements, and warehouse activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety regulations in all warehouse operations.
- Implement and maintain safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in coordinating the transportation and delivery of materials to project sites.
