Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Master Trainer in Dress Making & Embroidery to lead the training and development of our students/trainees in the art of dress making and embroidery. The successful candidate should have a strong background in fashion design, dress making, and embroidery, with the ability to teach and mentor students of varying skill levels.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of skill center operations, ensuring a safe, secure, and logistically efficient environment.
• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs in dress making and embroidery.
• Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and resources.
• Provide training, guidance, and capacity-building support to the team throughout project implementation, fostering effective team management and high-performance standards.
• Deliver training sessions using various methods, including demonstration, hands-on practice, and one-on-one mentoring.
• Evaluate prospective students' aptitude, skills, and academic background through comprehensive assessments, to determine their eligibility for admission to dress making and embroidery training programs.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement training programs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Maintain a solid, up-to-date understanding of the factors related to the project and orient and share with the management and leadership of the organization
• Prepare and submit regular narrative reports (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual) to management, detailing project progress, outputs, outcomes, and results, while ensuring maintenance of project documentation.
• Provide technical assistance and mentorship to selected beneficiaries, empowering them to transform innovative startup ideas into viable and sustainable businesses.
• To organize project related events; opening & closing ceremonies with representation of all stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Dress Making, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in dress making, embroidery, and training.
• Strong knowledge of dress making and embroidery techniques.
• Project Management/Team Lead experience.
• Experience working with host governments, UN bodies, INGOs and local NGOs will preferred
• Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in dress making, embroidery, or fashion design.
• Experience working in the fashion industry or a related field.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships.
• Ability to work creatively, effectively, and innovatively.
