Job Title: Senior Research Associate
Duty Station: Head Office, Islamabad
Reporting to: Research Manager
Research and Development Solutions (RADS) is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Research Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing research initiatives and knowledge dissemination efforts while working in collaboration with leading institutions and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quantitative analysis using statistical techniques. Prepare knowledge products to interpret data
- Develop and refine robust research methodologies for reliable data analysis.
- Employ data visualization tools and techniques to enhance the interpretability of complex data sets.
- Writing research papers and policy briefs and creating infographics to effectively communicate research insights.
- Manage the submission of research papers to peer-reviewed journals, including journal selection, adherence to submission guidelines, and overseeing the publication process.
- Coordinate consortium activities with stakeholders, organize project meetings, set agendas, document minutes, and disseminate information efficiently.
- Played a key role in producing research letters and other significant knowledge products.
- Facilitated and engaged in workshops, contributing to capacity building and professional development.
- Acted as a central liaison for collaborations with private stakeholders.
- Collected, analyzed, and conducted quality checks like data quality checks.
- Regularly schedule and conduct meetings with stakeholders to discuss findings and identify further areas for analysis.
- Conduct ethical reviews for both external and internal studies as part of the IRB, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and protocols.
- Created and executed weekly work plans
- Prepare monthly reports summarizing project progress and findings.
Education & Qualification:
Education:
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics/Econometrics, or a related field.
Experience:
- Work experience about 1-2 years with primary data. experience in using STATA/R
- Knowledge of various quantitative data analysis tools, and data visualization tools will be an added advantage.
