Job Purpose

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Officer will support in smooth execution of IT-related matters in the district. The Officer will also ensure that all technical infrastructure and data management tools are functioning in compliance with the IT-related protocols.  The Officer will maintain the beneficiary tracking system, bug-free voucher redemption system, and ensure accurate reporting, data analysis, and data security. He/she will work to provide support for various MIS-related tasks within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth execution and maintenance of all IT-related tasks and systems within the district.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any IT issues that arise, ensuring the continuous operation of the relevant systems in office and in field especially with PPs networks.
• Oversee the technical infrastructure and ensure that all IT systems and data management tools are functioning optimally.

• Support the project team in providing training sessions for healthcare providers on using the BISP beneficiaries verification system.
• Ensure healthcare providers are trained and able to effectively utilize the system for the verification of BISP beneficiaries.

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to the project team and healthcare providers in using the mobile app for BISP MWRAs.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date data maintenance related to BISP MWRAs through the mobile app, addressing any technical issues promptly.

• Provide technical input and support in the development of the mapping sheet for BISP beneficiaries, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of family profiles, ensuring the correct capture of Family Planning (FP) related information for BISP MWRAs and their families.
• Assist in managing and organizing data related to BISP MWRAs, ensuring it is secure, accurate, and accessible for relevant stakeholders.
• Generate and provide reports on the status and progress of FP services and BISP MWRA data as required by the project team and management.
• Collaborate closely with the project team, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of IT systems and processes.
• Assist in identifying and resolving issues related to IT systems, mobile apps, and data management, ensuring smooth operations in line with program objectives.
• Provide technical support for the management and distribution of Family Planning (FP) products, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting within the system.
• Continuously monitor the performance of IT systems, mobile applications, and data management processes.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and meet the evolving needs of the project.
• Provide general administrative and technical support to the MIS team, ensuring that all tasks related to data management, reporting, and IT systems are completed efficiently and on time.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management tools.
• Experience with mobile application support and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of data entry systems and data management techniques.
• Knowledge of Family Planning programs and safety nets, specifically BISP (Benazir Income Support Program), is a plus

Qualification

16 years of education in Computer Sciences/IT or equivalent from HEC recognized institute.

Experience

At least 2 years of relevant experience(Preferable have some e-voucher/cash voucher management experience)
