The Sub-Engineer will support the implementation of technical components of the project, including the design, supervision, and monitoring of small-scale infrastructure works. The Sub-Engineer will work closely with communities, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and timely completion of project activities, contributing to the overall goal of enhancing drought resilience.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure development, construction supervision, or related roles.
• Proficiency in using engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD) for design and drafting.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, material standards, and quality control processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in field-based environments.

Deliverables

• Technical designs, BoQs, and detailed work plans for assigned infrastructure projects.
• Site inspection reports and progress updates during construction and rehabilitation phases.
• Final report summarizing completed activities, challenges faced, and recommendations for future projects.
