Action Against Hunger (ACF) seeks a qualified consulting firm to conduct a Rapid Need Analysis in Balochistan, focusing on Afghan refugees and host communities in Quetta, Pishin, Killa Saifullah, and Chaghi districts. The consultancy will assess the state of health, nutrition, climate-resilient WASH, food security, livelihoods, and protection services.
Key Objectives:
- Assess acute malnutrition and stunting in children under five and pregnant/lactating women using SMART methodology.
- Identify gaps in health, nutrition, and WASH services in healthcare facilities and communities.
- Evaluate access to food and livelihoods and provide actionable recommendations.
Deliverables:
- A survey protocol and data collection tools.
- Training of data collectors and supervision during data collection.
- A detailed report with findings and recommendations.
Consultant Qualifications:
- Proven experience with SMART methodology and similar assessments.
- Expertise in nutrition, health, WASH, and livelihood analysis.
- Strong capacity for data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in English (local language skills are an asset).
- Availability of a multidisciplinary team including a nutritionist, public health expert, WASH specialist, and data analyst.
Timeline:
The consultancy will span four weeks from contract signing, with deliverables scheduled weekly.
