Human Appeal is implementing WFP nutrition activities under Benazir Nashonuma Programme (BNP) in district Qamber ShahdadKot to improve the nutritional status of adolescent girls in the targeted population of adolescent girls through provision of SNF and nutrition awareness activities linked with conditional cash assistance.

Position Summary:

Registration and compliance assistant is responsible for enrolment of BISP beneficiaries on tablets, implementation of compliance and referral SOPs coordination with health facility staff and where necessary ensure set of up compliance and enrolment desks within the premises of health facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Verification and enrolment of BISP beneficiaries in the programme through an android application
  • Refer beneficiaries i.e. PBW to the medical doctors for authentication and anthropometry and ensure the compliance of required services as mentioned in the programme protocols 
  • Ensuring compliance of the enrolled beneficiaries in the program through an android application.
  • Ensure that the required set up of enrolment and compliance desks at their health facilities are in place.
  • Liaise in a timely manner with the health facility staff engaged/involved to ensure maximum integration in the implementation package i.e. immunization, ANC/PNC etc.
  • Ensure that the eligible beneficiaries for registration are guided properly in order to efficiently avail the available services and related compliances linked with cash transfer and SNF distribution completed
  • Assist, coordinate and supervise activities related to the enrolment and compliance verification process.
  • Ensure to maintain referral mechanism established between community, FC and CMAM as per need.
  • Keep the active liaison with WFP district team.
  • Attend the meetings at the HF with the LHWs and other field staff,
    maintain all the relevant record manually and equipped her/himself in programme protocols
  • Provide overall supervision and technical oversight at the FC and guide the staff and beneficiaries
  • Facilitate in preparing the monthly SNF supplies distribution plans and execute distribution as per caseload of BISP beneficiaries in the concerned health facility.
  • Ensure that the eligible beneficiaries for registration are guided properly in order to efficiently avail the available services and related compliances linked with cash transfer and SNF distribution completed.
  • Manage the stocks at the FC level, do the stock count on daily basis at close and opening of business
  • Ensure compliance of the record in system prior to the distribution of cash and SNF.
  • Ensure efficient referral of malnourished beneficiaries from registration counter to the CMAM sites.
  • Ensure recommended SNF management SOPs are displayed at all facilities and followed by other staff at health facility.
  • Ensure the proper entries in the relevant section in android app
  • Ensure the tablet are at safely placed, charges and internet connectivity is available.
  • Trained the other staff of the FC in the compliance and also should herself equipped with the anthropometric measurement, SBCCC session and registration of the beneficiaries and performed the duties whenever required.
  • Maintain the manual record of commodity movement and beneficiaries assisted
  • Facilitate the social organizers in the field activities whenever required.

Skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduation in any field of social sciences, community health or related fields.
  • Good level of spoken and written Sindhi and local languages.
  • Excellent behavior change communication and counselling skills.
  • Excellent skills in organizing workflow, capacity to follow protocols and take own initiative.
  • Excellent ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in an environment where there are physical discomforts associated with change in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust or dirt.

              Skills and Proficiencies:

  • Ability and willingness to autonomously travel to duty site/ health facility and villages when required.
  • Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions like long distance walking to work/distribution sites
  • Excellent spoken and written local language /Urdu and English language skills
  • Good computer skills – ability to write weekly and monthly reports and data analysis.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Experience in closely working with DOH and Tehsil/District HQ Hospitals and at health facility level is advantageous
  • Previous experience working in clinical setting/CMAM is an asset
  • Candidates will be preferred who belong to Human Appeal-intervention areas/UCs district
