Job Description

JOB SUMMARY  

The role of the Assistant M&E data entry is to support the department in the data entry. S/he will also support the M&E team in administrative tasks.


MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

IMC’s Policies, Guidelines, and Procedures
•    Apply and adapt existing Global M&E Guidelines, tools, and templates at the relevant stages of the project cycle.
•    Actively promote the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) standards within IMC and amongst its beneficiaries.
•    Contribute to the creation of a positive image and overall credibility of the organization, notably through the application of the Code of Conduct, ethics, values, and standpoint with regards to internal and external actors.


Data Entry & Management
•    Support the team on ensuring data flow process and diagrams for data entry and submission.
•    Review data and identify discrepancies and rectify those problems.
•    Review all surveys and identify missing data.
•    Perform data cleaning and entry of patient satisfaction surveys, post distribution monitoring, and other types of monitoring activities and surveys.
•    Maintain record of assessment and surveys.
•    Transcribe and/or type data from qualitative interviews and focus group discussions
•    Perform data entry of registers, attendance lists, and other paper-based program data into electronic formats as needed.

M&E Administrative Support 
•    Provide assistance with data collection as and when required.
•    Assist with translation of reports and data
•    Assist with logistics and administration for M&E workshops, trainings, surveys, and assessments
•    Assist in uploading M&E data and reports onto SharePoint regularly.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•    Typically, a diploma in computer science, social sciences, international development or similar, with some experience or background in data entry. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
•    Typically, 1+ years of applied experience with a humanitarian organization and or working with refugees/IDPs in humanitarian settings.
•    Should be highly computer literate, with a good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
•    Demonstrated experience with database entry and management. 
•    Personal and organizational skills, including time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
•    Ability to collaborate with the different departments.
•    Excellent typing speed and accuracy
•    Medium-level English proficiency (Speaking – Reading – Writing).
•    High-level MISSION’S LANGUAGE proficiency (Speaking – Reading – Writing).
