CARE International Pakistan invites experienced consultants and research firms to undertake a pivotal Social Norms Study in District Sujawal, Sindh. The study aims to uncover critical barriers to adequate nutrition, focusing on the impact of harmful social norms and the interplay between nutrition, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), and educational factors. With over 2 million children affected by acute malnutrition across vulnerable districts, this research will serve as a cornerstone in shaping interventions that drive positive nutrition outcomes and community health improvements.

The study's scope includes an in-depth analysis of community behaviors, cultural practices, and gender dynamics that hinder nutrition practices, specifically among women of reproductive age and children under five. This work will help guide behavior change communication (BCC) strategies to address underlying norms, practices, and community beliefs impacting nutrition, WASH, and education.

We encourage all eligible applicants to thoroughly review the attached Terms of Reference (TOR) document for complete details on objectives, methodology, deliverables, and submission requirements.
