Key Responsibilities:

• Research & Development:
• Conduct research and development activities to develop new chemical products and processes.
• Design and conduct laboratory experiments to test new materials and formulations.
• Analyze experimental data and draw conclusions.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to document research findings.
• Develop and scale-up laboratory processes for pilot plant production.
• Production:
• Design, operate, and maintain chemical production plants.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Troubleshoot production problems and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment.
• Monitor and control process variables to maintain product quality.
• Quality Control:
• Develop and implement quality control procedures.
• Analyze product samples to ensure they meet specifications.
• Investigate and resolve quality control issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all quality control tests.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chemical engineering.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred).
• Strong understanding of chemical principles and engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in using chemical engineering software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
