Position Summary
The Social Organizer will play a key role in engaging community sessions and facilitating the implementation of the GBV Case Management project for Afghan nationals in Balochistan. The role involves community mobilization, awareness-raising, and coordinating with local stakeholders to ensure the effective service delivery of GBV services.

Minimum of 1-2 years in any project related to MHPSS, and of GBV

Minimum masters in psychology or social sciences

Direct Reporting To: GBV Caseworkers
Indirect Reporting To: Project Coordinator/Manager
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage with community leaders, groups, and stakeholders to promote the GBV case management project.
Organize and facilitate community meetings, focus group discussions, and awareness sessions on GBV issues.
Encourage community participation in project activities and foster community ownership.
Identifying and mapping available GBV services within the target communities.
Develop and implement awareness-raising campaigns on GBV, rights of survivors, and available services.
Tailor messages to be culturally sensitive and accessible to the target population.
Provide ongoing support and mentoring to community outreach volunteers.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, NGOs, and other service providers.
Facilitate coordination and referral pathways to ensure comprehensive support for GBV survivors.
Represent the organization in community forums and coordination meetings.
Strengthening referral pathways between communities and service providers.
Assist GBV caseworkers in identifying and reaching out to GBV survivors.
Facilitate access to services for survivors by providing information and making referrals.
Support caseworkers in organizing and conducting activities related to case management.
Collect and report data on community activities, awareness sessions, and other project-related events.
Monitor community attitudes and behaviors towards GBV and report any significant changes or trends.
Prepare and submit regular reports on community engagement activities to the GBV Caseworker.
Follow established protocols and guidelines for community engagement and GBV case management.
Ensure all activities respect the dignity and rights of survivors, adhering to principles of confidentiality and informed consent.
Perform other related duties as required by the GBV Caseworker and by PC.
