Finance Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Director in Implementing and administering Moawin Foundation systems for internal control, compliance, accounting, data processing, and financial reporting functions in accordance with Head Office regulations.
- Responsible for ensuring timely procurements in accordance with rules.
- Maintaining the Excel file for Employee accounts and other vendors.
- Maintaining an updated schedule of advances, accruals/payables, and their timely adjustments
- Maintain books of account.
- Assist in the monthly financial planning cycle and ensure the on-time submission of the monthly reporting package.
- Oversee the maintenance of all accounting records, ensuring that records are complete, accurate, and safeguarded.
- Consolidation of Regional and Sub-office expenditures monthly.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Manages all correspondence within and outside the Office.
- Record all incoming and outgoing letters and documents.
- Receive advice from the Project Director and GM Finance on relevant issues and tend to the information/inquiries sought.
- Convey all the required instructions and policies of the organization to the staff.
- Monitor administrative aspects of the regional office/school and evaluate. Discipline and punctuality of the staff.
- Ensure the maintenance of the attendance register in the office and confirm staff attendance level in the field.
- Responsible for supervising the work related to the purchase of furniture, office equipment, computers, air conditioner, and miscellaneous.
- Responsible for negotiating services agreements with vendors.
- Looks after administrative affairs of the Office.
Job Specifications:
- Masters with 2 years’ experience in relevant field or Bachelors in Business Administration with 3 years’ experience.
- Proven administrative, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of Financial systems
- Strong communication skills
- Good skills in computer (MS Office including database management)
- Problem solving skills in day-to-day financial matters.
