Job Title: Training Coordinator

The position is for a potential project aimed at increasing the economic opportunities of family farmers of Gilgit - Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwain Pakistan, with a special emphasis on women and youth, and is contingent upon project approval. Training Coordinator will report to the Project Coordinator.

Job Summary:

The Training Coordinator will manage the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs. This role involves organizing training sessions, developing educational materials, and ensuring that training activities align with the project’s objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design comprehensive training programs and materials tailored to the needs of agricultural cooperatives and their members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and gaps in knowledge related to cooperative management, climate-smart farming practices, and other relevant areas.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for cooperative representatives, farmers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that training sessions are interactive, engaging, and effectively convey the intended knowledge and skills.
  • Coordinate with the Project Coordinator to schedule training activities and ensure alignment with program timelines.
  • Manage logistics for training events, including venue arrangements, participant invitations, and material preparation.
  • Develop and implement evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from training participants to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to training participants, addressing any questions or issues that arise.
  • Ensure that training resources, such as manuals, guides, and online materials, are up-to-date and accessible to participants.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on training activities, including participant attendance, feedback, and outcomes.
  • Report any issues or challenges related to training programs to the Project Coordinator and propose solutions as needed.
  • Work closely with other team members, including the Project Coordinator, to ensure cohesive implementation of training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external experts and trainers as necessary to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in agricultural training and development.
  • Propose and implement innovative approaches to enhance training effectiveness and participant engagement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Agriculture, Development Studies, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 05 years of experience in training coordination, preferably in the agricultural sector or rural development.
  • Strong understanding of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
