Family Doctor

Normeca International AS invites “Family Doctor” to work in connection with the launch of our project in Pakistan “Mobile Multi Diagnostic Clinic / Mini Hospital” under the management of the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) and in cooperation with the Government in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The clinics will cover general diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, and they are all located in large mobile trailers. The clinics are fully equipped with modern medical equipment and ancillary units such as kitchen, laundry, dining room, conference rooms, etc. The Clinics are operating in KPK and Sindh Regions.

Normeca International AS is seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Doctor/ General practitioner to join our team. This role is pivotal in our mission to provide comprehensive medical care to the rural areas of Pakistan. The successful candidate must be willing to work in non-standard conditions and will provide a wide range of healthcare services, from preventive care to diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Perform routine check-ups, health-risk assessments, immunizations, and screening tests.
• Develop and manage personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Educate patients on health management and disease prevention.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Stay updated with medical advancements and best practices.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling mobile medical units at various locations.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical license to practice as a Family Doctor.
• Proven experience as a Family Doctor.
• Strong knowledge of primary care principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• English language is an advantage
