Job Description:

Manager Compliance, Budgeting & Reporting position shall be a core/project-based position and shall be responsible for below mentioned tasks of Organization and its associated entities.

  • He/She shall be responsible for the pre-audit and compliance of internal controls, policies and procedures with regards to financial transactions of any value.
  • This compliance shall be ensured at the time of processing any payment request prior to further approvals of CFO & CEO.
  • He/She shall be responsible for assisting the business development department in preparation and finalization of budgets for donor-based project proposals prior to final review of CFO and CEO.
  • He/She shall be responsible for donor financial reporting periodically as agreed in grant agreements and must ensure to meet agreed timelines of periodical financial reports. The reports once finalized shall be shared with the Chief Financial Officer for final review.
  • He/She shall be responsible for the preparation of budget variance analysis reports on monthly basis of each on-going project and will share the same with Chief Financial Officer for final review.
  • He/She shall be responsible for preparing and sharing donor invoices as per the agreed installment plan and keeping tracking and following up till final realization of funds in bank account.
  • He/She shall be responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer in preparation of the annual budget of Organization and associated entities.
  • He/She shall be responsible for cash flow management on daily basis and will share with CFO and CEO before  COB.
  • He/She shall be responsible for the preparation of financial statements of Organization and its associated entities before the start of annual statutory audit.
  • He/She shall closely liaise with the external auditors during the execution of annual statutory audits.
  • He/She shall closely liaise with the donor’s officials for carrying out financial verification of project on  periodical  basis.
  • He/She shall be responsible to present finance department and assist in due diligence exercise/assessments  conducted by donor organizations from time to time and provide due support required.
  • He/She shall be responsible to closely liaise with PCP officials for carrying out financial verification for the  purpose of PCP certification.
  • He/She shall be responsible to ensure submission of required documents for the purpose of PCP certification.
  • He/She shall be responsible for assisting the CFO in completing documentation for filing of applications u/s  2(36).
  • He/She shall be responsible for monitoring Annual Procurement Plan document and coordinating with relevant  department for timely discharge of their responsibilities.
  • He/She shall be responsible to review MoUs and grant agreements prior to final review of CFO and approval of  CEO.
  • Any other task assigned by the Supervisor

Required Qualification & Experience:

  • CA/CA Finalist, ICMA, CIMA or equivalent degree in Finance.
  • Eight+ years financial management experience with at least five years in a development sector. 
  • Demonstrated computer skills and extensive working knowledge of financial management, word processing, spreadsheet, and data base applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and accomplish short- and long- term deadlines with a heavy workload.
  • Good public presence and the ability to interact with many types of people at different levels.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
