Background

CAB-International (CABI) is implementing organic agriculture project “Building the policy ecosystem for organic production landscape in Balochistan, Pakistan” aiming to develop organic agriculture Act, Standards, Policy and Framework of accreditation with different public and private collaborators.

CABI requires a full time Consultant (Organic Agriculture) to be engaged with national and provincial stakeholders for assistance to support Project Manager for conducting Meetings, Workshops, reviewing drafts before submission to relevant Government Department. The Organic Agriculture consultant will provide technical assistance to review, design the developed organic agriculture Act, Standards and policy Drafts, Project Reports according to requirements of recipient departments/Organization/Donor. He/she will participate in stakeholder meetings to discuss the technical aspects of the stakeholder comments/suggestions for final submission. 

      i.    Master’s in agriculture (Agronomy, Entomology, Pathology, Agriculture Business or other related majors) from an HEC recognized                                    University/Institution.

     ii.    At least 3-4 years experience in Organic Agriculture and Sustainability projects in public or private sectors

    iii.    Good Communication Skills in English (Writing & speaking), Urdu and other native languages

   iv.     Experience in conducting workshops, Seminars, and meetings with wide range of audience

Duration:

The duration of consultancy services shall not exceed October 2024 to January 2025 after signing of contract and shall be subject to renewal after elapse of the defined duration.

Consultancy Fee

Payment of 130000-140000 Rs. will be paid on a monthly basis after deduction of applied taxes.
