The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) is an international, research-for-development organization that works with governments, civil society and the private sector in 15 countries to solve water problems in developing countries and scale up water management solutions through combining research on the sustainable use of water and land resources.

Context

IWMI is implementing Component 1: Climate Resilient Solutions for Improving Water Governance of the Water Resource Accountability in Pakistan (WRAP) project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The long-term goal of this component is to strengthen water governance through the following interventions: (i) Water accounting and productivity assessment, (ii) Surface and groundwater management information system, (iii) Irrigation Demand Management (IDM), (iv) Water allocation system, and (v) Capacity building.

Call for proposal

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to engage a national consulting firm to conduct a baseline study for Component 1: Climate Resilient Solutions for Improving Water Governance (CRS-IWaG) under the Water Resource Accountability in Pakistan (WRAP) program in selected districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). This study will be conducted on behalf of the International Water Management Institute (IWMI). Further details are provided in the attached RFP.

Application deadline

The deadline for sending applications is October 11, 2024, BY 1700 HRS.

The applicant firms are required to submit technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes and send them to IWMI’s Lahore office address as a one package.
