Key responsibilities

• Creating, editing, and managing CAD drawings and models, for hydropower and irrigation projects, including:

Intake Diversion/Weir structures, Gravel Trap, settling basin, headrace channel, Forbey Tank, Penstock arrangements, Spillway, Powerhouse, Tailrace, Irrigation canals, pipelines, and networks with ensuring accuracy and precision.

• Preparation of drawings for planning and design of hydropower and irrigation project structures including layout plans, cross sections and longitudinal sections etc.
• Digitization of existing drawings and site conditions, topographic and geological maps
• Preparation of structural designs of project components including reinforcement details
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and precision in CAD designs
• Develop and maintain CAD standards and templates
• Conduct quality control checks on CAD drawings and models

Qualification required:

• Diploma or degree in CAD design, engineering, or related field
• Certification in AutoCAD or related CAD software

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in CAD design and drafting, specifically in hydropower and irrigation projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software (e.g., Civil 3D, Revit)
• Strong understanding of CAD design principles and techniques
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Good communication and collaboration skills
