Relevant Experience:

 

         ·            Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, CPSM) are a plus.

         ·            Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement within the inspection or construction industry.

         ·            Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment and inspection processes.

         ·            Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships in a construction or inspection context.

         ·            Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

         ·            Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

         ·            Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Job Description:

         ·            Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the construction and inspection industry. Ensure the timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for project success.

         ·            Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors. Build and maintain strong relationships to secure favorable terms and ensure the quality and reliability of supplies.

         ·            Manage budgets for purchasing activities, seeking opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining high standards of quality. Monitor and report on expenditure and cost-saving opportunities.

         ·            Oversee inventory management for construction materials and inspection equipment. Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

         ·            Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Address any quality issues or discrepancies promptly.

         ·            Collaborate with project managers and teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of necessary materials and services.

         ·            Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and inventory levels. Use data analysis to drive improvements and efficiency
