Job Title: IT Officer
Department: IT Department

Job Summary:
The IT Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, and data management. This role requires ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, providing technical support to users, and collaborating with vendors and departments to meet the organization's technology needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Network Management:
- Install, manage, and maintain access points, CCTV, biometric devices, printers, scanners, photocopier machines, and PABx systems.
- Ensure continuous Internet connectivity and monitor network devices to ensure timely service, repair, and replacement.

Operations & Support:
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and support projectors, laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, Internet, PABx telephony, software, CCTV, and other ICT equipment across all district offices.
- Prepare and manage PRFs, asset transfer notes, gate passes, and GRNs.
- Monitor IT systems infrastructure.

Data & Files Management:
- Manage backups of user data, website data, and organizational documentation.
- Maintain IT SLAs, contracts, and memos, and ensure data management mechanisms are in place.

Vendor Management:
- Support IT procurement processes.
- Provide technical support to vendors and ensure compliance with specifications.

Hardware Management:
- Monitor, install, configure, manage, and maintain all IT hardware assets.
- Ensure proper installation and maintenance of networks, infrastructure, desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and CCTV.

Software & Licensing:
- Install, manage, and maintain official antivirus, Google Workspace, ZKTeco Biotime, Fortigate firewall, Zoom, Smartsheet, Windows, and Microsoft Office licenses.
- Manage and maintain Pakistan Law Sites licenses and other organizational software.

Meetings/Coordination/Conferences:
- Plan and provide technical support for conferences and online meetings.

Training and Workshops:
- Facilitate and build capacity for staff on IT systems.
- Train staff on AI technologies and new equipment.

Documentation:
- Prepare and sign all PRFs, GRNs, work orders, asset transfer notes, gate passes, procurement memos, and contracts/SLAs.
- Maintain comprehensive IT documentation.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, network management, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing and supporting hardware and software, including networking equipment, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and enterprise software.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users and vendors.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed documentation.
- Vendor Management: Experience with vendor coordination and procurement processes.
- Training: Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops for staff on IT systems and new technologies.
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in the workplace is a plus.
