Cesvi is an international NGO headquartered in Italy, and it has been operating in Pakistan since 2005, with multiple humanitarian and development projects. Cesvi is implementing a development project in consortium with Concern Worldwide with financial support from FCDO.

With the present document, Cesvi is inviting interested companies to present quotations for the WORKS tender for rehabilitating and construction water supply schemes in 09 Union Councils of District Charsadda through the following Open Local Tender as indicated below:

All national suppliers/firms/companies can collect the Tender documents with detailed Scope of Work from the Cesvi Country Office (address below) until 15 August 2024 at 1500 Hrs local time.

A tender dossier can also be requested and availed by contacting the e-mail address [email protected] by 15 August 2024 at 1500 Hrs.

1. Sealed tenders/bids must be submitted in 02 envelopes marked A (Financial offer) and B (Technical information, including delivery time and previous work experiences). Bids submitted without all the requested documents, including Bid Security of 3% of the total quoted amount and the signing of Annexes, may not be considered for further evaluation. Performance Guarantee will be collected from the winning bidder later.
2. Sealed tenders along with samples must be submitted by 19 August 2024 at 1530 Hrs at Cesvi Country Office First Floor, 1-E (South) Jinnah Avenue, D-Chowk, Islamabad, and should be marked as “Not to be opened before “16 August 2024”. Electronic bidding is NOT ALLOWED.
3. The tender opening session will be held in the Cesvi Islamabad Office on 19 August 2024 at 1600 Hrs, in the presence of the bidder’s representatives (only one representative from each bidder), who wish to witness the tender opening.
4. Tender Committee reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of supplies/services ( 15%) after awarding the tender to the tender winner.
5. Bidder must not be engaged in any corruption, fraudulent, collusive, or coercive practices, including but not limited to applying/bidding by multiple names/companies. If any bidder is found to be involved in such practices, their bid will be rejected, and the companies in question will be permanently blacklisted.
6. The lowest price will not be the sole criterion of selection. Delivery time, previous experience, and technical/quality criteria will also be considered when selecting bids.

Questions raised and answers will be communicated via email to all registered tenderers by 16 August 2024 by 1700 Hrs. Inquiries by phone will NOT be entertained.
