Job Description:
Position Objective and Specific Tasks.
A USAID-funded Project is hiring District Coordinator in Umerkot. The District Coordinator will work closely with the Provincial Coordinator to supervise activities at the district level, manage meetings, consultations, and seminars, oversee project activities, and ensure data collection and report generation:
Key Responsibilities.
- Develop a comprehensive plan to visit all health facilities in the district at least once per month and monitor the work of field officers.
- Coordinate with the district health authorities (DHO, DTC, DTO and team) and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Institutional heads (Director, MS, DMS and TB Focal Person/In charge)
- Coordinate with the District TB Coordinator (DTC) and District TB Officer to ensure that all the data of TB BMU is properly recorded and endorsed and eligible household contacts have started TB Preventive Treatment (TPT) at the relevant TBMU.
- Coordinate with the DTC, DTO and TB In charge to ensure that TB-positive household contacts have started Anti Tuberculosis Treatment (ATT) at the relevant TBMU.
- Ensure collection and compilation of data from field officers on daily basis.
- Compile data from Field Officers in the approved format and share it with the Provincial Coordinator and M&E Officer as per the defined frequency (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly)
- Assist Provincial Coordinator in developing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Coordinate with the field team for the timely collection of monthly, quarterly, and yearly work plans and all relevant reports.
- Ensure data integration into the DHIS-2 in collaboration with District Health Authority.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of data and reports.
- Plan a monthly meeting with FOs and share minutes of meeting.
- Prepare data for processing by organizing information, checking for inaccuracies, and adjusting and weighting the raw data.
- Provide other support as required by work.
Educational Requirements and Qualifications.
The individual holding this position shall possess the following:
- At least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant discipline.
- At least two years of relevant field management experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience with health sector NGO.
- Preference will be given to candidates worked for a USAID funded project.
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience in managing field team.
- Strong analytical and computer skills such as MS Office.
- Ability to conduct technical analysis and data visualizations.
- Strong knowledge for the use of gadgets and data entry.
- Strong communication and writing skills and willingness to travel in the field.
- Ability to determine key indicators to measure project impact and to develop measurement systems for them.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative M&E data collection, verification & validation, and analysis methods, including tracking outcome indicators and conducting program evaluations.
- Well-versed with handling database management systems.
- Skills in organizing filing systems.
- Capacity to work individually and within a team.
Authorized Workday/week
The work week will start on Monday and conclude at the end of the day, Saturday.
