General mission

Ensure efficient and timely support to the HI Supply Chain department, on a daily basis, within the domains of their day-to-day business operation.

Missions / responsabilities

 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

Ensure efficient and timely support to the HI Supply Chain department, on daily basis, within the domains of their day-to-day business operation. Which includes;

  • Filing and archiving
  • Assist in external audit verifications
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and distributing materials or products.
  • Participate in inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Help ensure proper documentation for incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Support in organizing the warehouse for efficiency
  • Any other tasks as assigned by department head/Line manager

LOGISTICS:

  • Supporting the logs department in routine administrative activities.
  • Ensuring the Office premises are clean and tidy.
  • Supporting in compiling the records for daily kitchen items.
  • Facilitating the staff in hotel bookings.
  • Supporting the supply chain officer in direct procurement.
  • Supporting the logs department in data archiving.
  • Laison with other departments for effective support.
  • Assisting the Logistics department in monthly reporting.
  • Monitor and report vehicle usage, fuel consumption and mileage
  • Assist in organizing drivers and ensuring compliance with fleet protocols

Job characteristics & general Mission:

  • Familiarity and/or experience with NGOs and international organizations
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and meet short deadlines
  • Must be a self-starter, responsible, mature, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Good command in written and spoken English
  • Willing to work in the office as well as to travel to the field when required
  • Willing to work in a team as well as independently
  • Any experience of the same nature will be advantageous

Skills:

  • Language skills, Urdu and English (desirable).
  • Having an experience of one years in a good Organization will be preferred. Fresh Graduates / Master degree holder also encouraged to apply.
