Organization Unit: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
Reports To: Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Manager
Primary function/purpose
The Monitoring and Evaluation unit is responsible for developing, supporting and documenting learnings, managing knowledge and information for core program activities in line with the specific requirements of both organization and the donors. Monitoring,Evaluation and Reporting Officer will take a key role in driving learning agenda to document best practices, coordination with the team for collection of information and following reporting processes and deadlines. Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Officer will have a pivotal role in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and information to support informed decision-making within the organization.
Major duties and responsibilities
- Prepare reporting schedule in line with the key deliverables
- Coordinate with the team to ensure that reports are generated in a timely manner and adhere to established schedules
- Contribute to the drafting of periodic progress/performance reports and fact sheets
- Design and implement tools for collection of qualitative data to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports
- Support for conducting exercise for documenting lessons learnt from the key program interventions
- Collect data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the program objectives and performance indicators
- Maintain the organization’s e-library of resource literature and documents, including tracking of
- Develop case studies/stories of change and contribute to the impact assessment/evaluation/end-line studies.
- Conduct monitoring visits for ongoing interventions and share
- Support to the MEL team for conducting midterm and end-term evaluations of programs
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4 Years of Experience in similar roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
