CARE Pakistan is looking for a short-term consultant to temporarily assume the responsibilities of the Team Lead until the position is permanently filled.
Objectives
The primary objective of this consultant is to oversee the behavior change component of the AAWAZ-II project in Sindh including:
- Workshop design with key stakeholders on SBCC
- Plan key activities for social campaigns that enhance social cohesion and non-discrimination, encouraging citizens to take collective action.
- Support MEAL in incorporating SBCC in MEAL plan and nested log frame.
Scope of Work
The consultant will be responsible for leading and designing the SBCC component for the AAWAZ-II project while assessing in detail the contextual situation of target groups, focusing on the context-specific barriers, touchpoints, influencers, triggers and measures to inform the SBCC strategy. It will also enable us to effectively coordinate with key stakeholders to gather essential information, and ensuring the completion of the planned activities and deliverables outlined below.

Duration
The during of the consultancy will start from the signing of the agreement, until December 30, 2024.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal consultant should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience of designing SBCC strategies for different themes of interest for different NGOs, INGO or UN agencies.
- Proven experience of working on Social Behavior Change experience in development context.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in explaining the frameworks and strategies to different stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Prior experiences of project implementation in similar context.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
